We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the General Manager in leading our team and driving the success of our establishment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, and fostering a positive team environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of the Food & Beverage industry, and hands-on leadership in day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the industry and demonstrate excellent leadership, operational, and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the Food & Beverage industry with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Hotel F&B experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills. Knowledge of inventory systems, basic costing principles, and scheduling software.
  • Leadership: Hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for guest interactions and team management.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Education: Degree or certification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Support: Assist in the daily operations , ensuring smooth service and operational efficiency.
  • Team Development: Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
  • Guest Experience: Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, promptly addressing feedback and resolving issues to maintain high service standards.
  • Shift Leadership: Serve as the manager-on-duty during assigned shifts, providing hands-on leadership and support to the team.
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Assist with inventory management, tracking stock levels, supporting cost control initiatives, and maintaining par levels.
  • Financial Support: Help monitor daily sales, labor costs, and expenses, supporting the General Manager in budget adherence and financial reporting.
  • Compliance: Ensure team adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team, bar staff, and hotel leadership to align restaurant operations with hotel goals.
