We're Hiring: General Manager & Assistant Manager

Chopstix is growing, and we're looking for experienced, ambitious and commercially minded restaurant managers to join our teams in Wembley and Hounslow.

We are recruiting for General Manager (GM) and Assistant Manager (AM) positions.

We're looking for leaders who can do more than run a shift. You will be responsible for people, performance, customer experience, operational standards and commercial results.

If you are passionate about hospitality, enjoy developing people and understand how to run a profitable restaurant, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

People & Leadership

  • Lead, motivate and develop the restaurant team
  • Build a positive, high-performing store culture
  • Recruit, train and retain great people
  • Set clear expectations and create accountability
  • Manage team performance through coaching, feedback and performance management
  • Identify high-potential employees and develop future Team Leaders and Managers
  • Support succession planning and career development

Commercial Performance & P&L

  • Take ownership of restaurant KPIs, targets and business performance
  • Understand and manage the P&L
  • Drive sales, revenue and profitability
  • Monitor and control labour costs, food costs and controllable expenses
  • Support budgeting and forecasting
  • Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create and implement action plans to improve commercial performance
  • Understand the key drivers of restaurant profitability
