Description

Three Blue Ducks at Nimbo Fork is set on a stunning property just outside Gundagai, surrounded by rolling hills, native bushland and wide-open spaces. It’s a unique regional venue offering relaxed, produce-driven dining with a strong focus on genuine hospitality. The 6 room lodge and additional 6 boutique cabins offer an idyllic escape.

Three Blue Ducks is all about good food, good people and good vibes. We care deeply about where our produce comes from, how it’s served, and the impact we leave behind.

We are looking for an Assistant Accommodation & Restaurant Manager.

This is a hands-on hybrid role combining both hotel and restaurant management for someone who leads from the front - supporting the day-to-day running of service, guiding the team and ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience.

Accommodation Management

The Accommodation Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the overall management and day-to-day operations of the lodge, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while achieving operational and financial objectives. As the second-in-charge, this position assumes full responsibility for lodge operations in the Accommodation Manager's absence and independently manages front office operations as required.

The successful candidate will be a proactive and hands-on hospitality skilled with strong leadership capabilities, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to perform confidently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the day-to-day operation of the lodge, and independently manage front office operations, including opening and closing procedures.

- Coordinate daily activities across accommodation, housekeeping, and guest services.

- Monitor occupancy, revenue, and operational performance.

- Lead and mentor team members, assisting with staff rostering, onboarding, training, and day-to-day supervision.
