JOB DESCRIPTION

We are actively seeking a self-motivated and professional Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and strong leadership abilities. The manager will work at our College Ave and Grand Ave locations in Oakland and our Solano Ave location in Berkeley.
This is an hourly paid position. We are open to a full or part time role.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years of restaurant experience and preferably at least one year of supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to work productively as part of a management team

MAJOR JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Work and maintain a presence in all areas of the restaurant
  • Handle physical labor including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion, bending and reaching throughout shift, occasionally climb ladders, standing for 9+ hours (most management shifts are between 9 and 10+ hours).
  • Weekend availability
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility
