JOB DESCRIPTION

We are actively seeking a self-motivated and professional Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and strong leadership abilities. The Assistant Manager will work at our Downtown Pleasanton and/or Downtown Pleasant Hill locations.
This is an hourly paid position. We are open to a full or part time role.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years of restaurant experience and preferably at least one year of supervisory or management experience
  • Ability to work productively as part of a management team

MAJOR JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Work and maintain a presence in all areas of the restaurant
  • Handle physical labor including lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion, bending and reaching throughout shift, occasionally climb ladders, standing for 9+ hours (most management shifts are between 9 and 10+ hours).
  • Weekend availability
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility
