Your day to day We’re recruiting an experienced Restaurant & Bar Operations Manager to lead multiple restaurant and bar venues across Crowne Plaza Melbourne and InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto. If you’re a Food & Beverage leader with strong multi-venue operational experience and a passion for service excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career. You’ll be passionate about all things Food & Beverage, with proven experience managing restaurants and bars in a high-volume hotel environment and leading diverse teams to success. From the moment a guest steps into our hotels, they should feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after. You’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, driving financial performance, and creating memorable guest experiences across all outlets. You’ll be closely connected with your teams—driving engagement, performance, and accountability—while ensuring they receive the right learning and development opportunities to maximise their potential and foster a positive, productive workplace culture. You’ll also work collaboratively with senior leaders, culinary teams, and hotel stakeholders to deliver consistent brand standards, innovate offerings, and continually improve the guest journey. What we need from you · Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management and/or Business Administration · Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage operations, including leadership experience in restaurant and bar environments · Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large and diverse teams across multiple venues · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills · A team player who is self-motivated and able to perform under pressure · Passion for driving results and delivering exceptional guest experiences · Experience with hotel systems such as Infrasys or Opera (highly regarded) · Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
