Restaurant / Bar Supervisor

The Ship Inn at Southbank is seeking an experienced Restaurant / Bar Supervisor / all-rounder for an immediate start. This role will be a combination of working in the restaurant, some involvement in functions and some bar work.

This is a hands on role for someone with proven experience in bars, pubs, restaurants, or cafes. This role includes but not limited to:

  • Must have experience overseeing a restaurant but the role is hands on so you will be looking after tables, clearing, re-setting and overseeing the table turnover of the venue.
  • Providing outstanding customer service - must love hospitality!!
  • A mature outlook with responsibility for closing the venue
  • Must be available nights and weekends.
  • Communicating with management, kitchen staff and customers

We are a small friendly team here at the Ship Inn and this position would suit those that love the variety that restaurants/functions/bar has to offer and aren’t afraid to help wherever they are needed!
Casual position with plenty of hours for the right person!!!
