SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of mixology is an asset.
- Pro Serve Certification.
- Positive interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive team player attitude with the ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and customer preferences.
- Take drink orders from customers or servers and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area, including arranging glasses, bar tools, and ensuring sufficient stock of beverages.
- Describe and advise on wine and other liquor selections.
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware.
- Knowledge of wide range of alcoholic beverages.
- Enforce Alberta liquor legislation and regulations and Check customers’ identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Describe menu items including specials for customers.
- Serve food and beverages in an efficient and friendly manner.
- Take inventory and order supplies, ensure the bar is well-stocked.
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, traveler’s cheques or room billings.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by on duty Manager.
- Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately.
- Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest and business needs.
