Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner - Create a welcoming and engaging environment for hotel guests and visitors - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies - Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations - Manage cash register and process payments accurately - Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service - Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold the hotel’s standards - Keep up-to-date with new drink recipes, trends, and techniques Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role - Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and alcohol safety regulations - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications or licenses At The Confluence Hotel, we pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming culture and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
