Description *MUST HAVE United States Work AUTHORIZATION * Position: A server who will also bartend. Bartending and Server experience is a must. Part-Time position with open availability. Provide friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service in a high-volume restaurant environment, delivering outstanding guest experiences consistent with Pierpoint Management and brand standards while complying with California health, safety, and labor laws. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests promptly, present menus, and explain daily specials and promotions. Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system. Serve food and beverages following portion, presentation, and timing standards. Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests, resolving or escalating issues to management. Prepare and clear tables between courses and after service; reset place settings to standard. Uphold sanitation and food-safety procedures, including proper handling of allergens and compliance with local health codes. Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service procedures under California law. Process guest checks, accept payments, and follow cash-handling and tip-pooling policies. Assist with side work, prep, and closing duties as assigned to maintain smooth operations. Accurately record time worked and follow company attendance and uniform standards. Qualifications Previous table service experience preferred; hospitality or restaurant experience a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, guest-focused demeanor. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a team. Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems. Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages where required by law. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical Demands and Work Environment Regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, reach, lift up to 40 pounds, carry trays, and push service carts. Frequent exposure to hot and cold temperatures in service and kitchen areas. Fast-paced restaurant environment with periods of high volume and repetitive motion. Reasonable accommodations considered in accordance with California disability laws. Training and Compliance Complete property onboarding, food-safety training, and brand service training as required. Participate in mandatory harassment prevention and safety training required by California law. Complete responsible alcohol service training if required by the property and local regulations. Compensation and Employment Terms Nonexempt position; paid for all hours worked and provided meal and rest breaks in accordance with California law. Compensation and tip distribution will comply with California wage-and-hour laws and company policy.
