We’re opening a new location in Lawrence, Kansas, and we’re building an exceptional management team to help us bring our passion for world-class BBQ and scratch-made, chef-inspired cuisine to even more guests. Hourly is $6.00Hr + Tip Pool Summary At Q39 our passion is to create craveable, memorable dining experiences for all. The Busser ensures Q39 guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked front-of-house. This role supports servers by clearing tables, resetting stations, replenishing supplies, and adhering to cleanliness and safety protocols. the Busser plays a critical role in delivering fast and efficient table turnover and reinforcing Q39's high standards of service. Key Responsibilities Clear and sanitize tables and chairs promptly after guest departure. Reset tables with proper silverware, set ups and neatly align chairs. Support bartenders by monitoring and assisting with clearing when needed. Support servers by communicating guest needs and relaying messages. Ensure cleanliness of restaurant floors and public area by regularly sweeping and promptly addressing spills Use gloves and approved and sanitizing solutions according to health and safety guidelines Perform assigned side work and prepare station for shift changes Conduct hourly restroom checks and maintain cleanliness standards Maintain a clean and welcoming exterior by removing trash, debris, and cigarette butts from the parking lot and surrounding entryways. Collaborate with the FOH team to create a seamless and excellent guest experience. Create craveable, memorable dining experiences. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred • Ability to lift, carry, and transport dishes and equipment • Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency • Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment • Positive team player who communicates effectively
