Job Description We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Restaurant Captain to join our team in Baghdad, Iraq. As a Restaurant Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests while leading and supporting our service staff. Oversee and coordinate all aspects of dining room operations Lead, train, and motivate the service team to maintain high standards of customer service Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere Manage reservations and handle special requests or complaints professionally Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign duties to team members Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area Assist in menu planning and wine list development Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies Handle cash and credit transactions accurately Prepare reports on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants Previous experience as a captain or in a similar leadership role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in restaurant management software In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service standards Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems efficiently Additional Information Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
