Responsibilities: Guest Experience: Create a memorable dining experience by anticipating guests’ needs and delivering a seamless, attentive service. Guide guests through the menu, sharing insights on the seasonal, plant-forward dishes and zero-waste philosophy. Handle special requests with flexibility and warmth, ensuring each dining experience is unique and personalized. Facilitate a great guest experience by organizing the daytime poolside operations and room service Team Leadership: Train and mentor servers on 5 star service standards, menu knowledge, and eco-conscious practices to maintain a cohesive, well-prepared team. Lead pre-shift meetings to ensure the team is aligned on daily specials, menu updates, and specific guest needs. Develop staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak periods. Support team members during busy times by stepping in where needed, setting a positive, energetic example. Supplier Management: Place orders with our existing suppliers Check deliveries and invoices to ensure the correct amount and cost of orders Ensure all shifts have enough inventory of all ingredients and equipment needed for a smooth guest experience Sustainability & Operational Standards: Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate the service flow, maintaining efficiency and sustainability in every step. Uphold the zero-waste policy by monitoring food usage and ensuring minimal waste throughout service. Vet suppliers, place orders and assist with inventory management, keeping a mindful eye on stock levels to support eco-friendly purchasing and reduce excess. Ambiance & Aesthetic: Oversee the dining area’s cleanliness, ambiance, and table settings, ensuring they reflect Tella Thera’s relaxed, nature-inspired atmosphere. Make sure lighting, music, and décor complement the guest experience, creating an environment where guests can unwind and connect with the surroundings. Qualifications: Experience & Skillset: Previous experience as a restaurant captain, lead server, or similar role in a fine-dining or boutique environment. Knowledge of Greek wines and bar operations Strong knowledge of eco-conscious dining trends and a passion for sustainable cuisine. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse guests. Leadership Qualities: A positive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to inspiring and supporting team members. Adaptability in handling high-energy settings while maintaining poise and quality service. Commitment to Sustainability: A deep appreciation for sustainability, with knowledge of zero-waste practices and eco-friendly standards.
