We’re opening a new location in Lawrence, Kansas, and we’re building an exceptional management team to help us bring our passion for world-class BBQ and scratch-made, chef-inspired cuisine to even more guests. Pay is $6.00Hr + Tip Pool Summary Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional carryout experience for all guests. This includes taking orders, answering questions, making recommendations, processing transactions on POS, organizing and assembling orders, closing transactions, and provide assembled orders to guests for carry-out. The specialist also sets up, maintains, cleans, and closes the carryout area of the restaurant. Duties and Responsibilities 90 Percent of job duty will be running food to tables. • Answer phones professionally and assist guests with orders and provide other appropriate service. • Work with other carry-out team members to manage the flow of orders, answering the phone, and assisting guests in person. • Follow all Carry Out procedures to maintain quality consistent guest experience. • Performs light housekeeping duties: carry out waiting area and patio. • Frequently monitor and observe online orders, quote times and food quantity with the kitchen to ensure guests receive their orders without interruption. • Contribute effectively to the Carry out team to ensure the smooth and efficient operations and excellent guest experiences. This includes filling in and assisting fellow teammates. • Prepare carry out stations for service at the beginning of shift, perform side work as assigned, keep service areas stocked and clean, and transition smoothly to next specialist when shift has concluded. • At the end of the business day, clean and close carry out stations per Q39 procedures. Follow equipment maintenance and advise managers of any equipment or supply issues Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • No Experience Necessary, We Will Train the Right Canidate • Experience with Micros POS or similar and tablet. • Ability to work in fast paced environment while maintaining service accuracy and interacting with guests and fellow team members. • Demonstrate basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures and functions. • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
