A normal working week would be 42 hours.
Porta is a group of 4 restaurants (Chester, Altrincham, Didsbury & Salford) owned and managed by Ben and Joe Wright alongside The Jolly Gardeners in Chester. Our company is large enough that you will enjoy some autonomy and decision-making responsibility, but also small enough that you will work very closely with the owners and Operations team to manage the business.
A knowledge of Spanish cuisine is an advantage but not essential – extensive training will be provided.
Our menu covers many tapas bar classics and is focused on top quality ingredients. Every item is handmade in-house.
Our aim is for Porta to be one of the best informal restaurants in the UK.​
