Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Restaurant Expo to join our team. As the link between the kitchen and the dining room, the Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are delivered accurately and efficiently, enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Receive and organize incoming food orders from the kitchen, ensuring accuracy and presentation. Expedite food orders to servers in a timely manner, maintaining communication to ensure efficient service. Monitor the flow of service and prioritize orders based on timing and guest needs. Assist kitchen staff with plating, garnishing, and ensuring quality control of dishes before they leave the kitchen. Maintain a clean and organized expo station, including proper storage of supplies and utensils. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to resolve any issues or delays in orders. Assist in maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in accordance with health regulations. Qualifications: Previous experience in a restaurant environment preferred, especially in an expediting or food service role. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly between kitchen and dining areas.
