• Restaurant Floor Manager

• Up to £40,000 per annum

The Restaurant Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house operations during service, ensuring that guests experience exceptional service. This includes managing the front of house team, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring that the restaurant environment is welcoming, clean, and efficient. The Restaurant Floor Manager will assist the Restaurant Manager in maintaining service standards, training staff, and managing guest relations to ensure an optimal dining experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Supervise and manage front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service and a high standard of guest experience.
• Lead and coordinate the floor staff, ensuring that all service duties are performed efficiently and to the restaurant’s standards.
• Oversee guest seating, order-taking, and service, ensuring that all guest needs are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
• Ensure the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in recruiting, training, and developing the front-of-house team to ensure consistency in service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and handle complaints or special requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food and seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house.
• Oversee staff scheduling to ensure that adequate coverage is provided during peak periods, while controlling labour costs.
• ⁠Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Ensure the delivery of exceptional service, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to achieve operational efficiency and excellent service.
• Manage the cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests.
• Handle guest issues and complaints with professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes.
• ⁠Assist in managing labour costs by effectively scheduling staff and ensuring the front-of-house is adequately staffed during peak periods.
