MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Restaurant Floor Supervisor at Javelina plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant floor. This position is responsible for overseeing daily dining room activities, managing staff performance, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction. The supervisor acts as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain seamless communication and timely service. They are also tasked with upholding health, safety, and cleanliness standards in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ultimately, the role aims to create a welcoming and organized dining environment that supports the restaurant’s reputation and business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant floor staff including servers, hosts, and bussers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage order flow and resolve any service issues that arise during shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the dining area.
  • Assist in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to maintain a motivated and skilled team.
  • Manage inventory levels of dining room and or food and beverage supplies and communicate needs to management for timely replenishment.
