Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our award-winning French Brasserie & Bar – Couqley Downtown, and elevate the guest experience to new heights.

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing front-of-house team.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and culinary team to maintain quality and consistency
  • Drive revenue through strategic planning, guest profiling, and targeted initiatives
  • Monitor financial performance, control costs, and optimize profitability
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and implement continuous improvements
  • Uphold brand standards and foster a culture of excellence and hospitality
  • Training and mentoring the Front of House team to deliver consistently excellent guest experiences
  • Leading daily pre-service briefings and ongoing coaching to ensure standards in service, guest happiness, and menu familiarity
  • Supporting the development of a strong hospitality culture aligned with the brand’s values and mission

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Restaurant General Manager role (minimum 2 years) for a Standalone Restaurant in Dubai ideally within premium-casual or upscale dining with busy operations.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume, fast-paced restaurant operations, guest centric environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in busy operations, juggling many things at once.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and retain high-performing teams
  • Solid wine knowledge, service techniques, and upselling best practices
  • Experience in training and developing service teams to high-performance hospitality standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest feedback and operational challenges gracefully
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
  • Passion for French cuisine and premium dining experiences
  • Fluent in English; French & Arabic language skills are a plus
