The JOB: Eighty Ocean Kitchen and Bar offers a relaxed dining experience with a stunning oceanside view. The open-air concept changes by daypart and season while our screened-in porch offers flexibility for more intimate dining or private events. This role is responsible for leading, mentoring, and managing a Food and Beverage team, all to ensure a sensational dining experience for our guests. As the Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will include: Work with budget and menu Monitor inventory Communicate with vendors Supply information about the Food and Beverage capabilities and programs to other departments and clients or potential clients. Respond to needs and requests of guests and potential guests. Ensure that implementation and maintenance of standards of food, beverage and service quality are commensurate with a first-class operation. Implement effective cost controls for food, beverage and labor. Create a comfortable atmosphere to encourage committed and loyal employees. Oversee and assist in hiring and training programs for food and beverage personnel. Develop management skills in employees. Oversee weekly payroll for department.
