Our stylish rotisserie restaurant and vibrant bar has established itself as a destination venue in Maltby Street, and we are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join our dynamic team!
About Poulet: Located at 37 Maltby Street, SE1 3GP, Poulet occupies a stunning 3,000 sq ft railway arch stretching from Maltby Street to Druid Street. We offer exceptional cocktails, organic, natural and classic wines, local beers, and ciders in a captivating atmosphere with ambient lighting and great music. We accommodate up to 150 guests and host everything from live music to game nights to weddings and corporate events.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous leadership experience in hospitality industry for at least 3 years
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective team management and delegation abilities
• Good wine knowledge is an advantage
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

EXPERIENCE:

• Hospitality management: 3 years (required)

• Oversee daily operations including staff scheduling, stock control, and health & safety compliance
• Manage and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing staff members
• Collaborate with operations team and owner to implement revenue strategies and improve customer satisfaction
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
• Look after and organise all events alongside operations team
