Status:  Full-Time Year-Round Salary:  Based on Experience Hours/Days:   Vary depending on business and occupancy. 5 Years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager Summary of the Main Function/ Purpose of the Position: Directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service. Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage departments to meet the daily needs of the operation. Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage. Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules, and evaluates staff. Key Principle Duties/ Responsibilities: ·  Oversees all aspects of the daily operation of the resort’s Food & Beverage (F &     B) outlets, banquets, room service, kitchen, and any other F & B operations ·  Manages F & B associates, with emphasis on Outlet Managers, Banquet    Managers and Supervisors ·  Responds to guest complaints in a timely manner ·  Coordinates and monitors all phases of Loss Prevention in the F & B department ·  Prepares and submits required reports in a timely manner ·  Ensures preparation of required reports, including (but not limited to) Wage    Progress, payroll, revenue, employee schedules, and quarterly action plans  · Monitors the quality of service in the F & B department  ·  Assists in menu planning and preparation ·  Ensure compliance with all local liquor laws and health and sanitation laws     regulations ·  Ensures compliance with SOPs in all outlets ·  Conducts staff performance reviews in accordance with company standards ·  Understands, implements, and monitors corporate promotions in outlets ·  Complies with weekly and monthly forecasting procedures ·  Ensures the training of department heads and employees on SOPs, reports     preparation and technical job tasks ·  Conducts and/or remains involved in departmental training and development ·  Follows standards for hiring approvals ·  Ensures overall guest satisfaction ·  Focuses on solving conflict, not blaming; Maintains confidentiality; Listens to    others without interrupting; Keeps emotions under control; Remains open to    others& ideas and tries new things. ·  Balances team and individual responsibilities; Exhibits objectivity and openness    to others &views; Gives and welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a    positive team spirit; Puts the success of the team above own interests; Able to build    morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; Supports everyone’s    efforts to succeed; Recognizes the accomplishments of other team members. ·  Safety and Security - Observes safety and security procedures; Determines    appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions;    Uses equipment and materials properly. ·  Ensure that the company culture is followed. ·  Attend weekly Operations and SEO meetings and oversee the monthly department    meetings. Accountability:  Records: Oversight: Staff will be responsible for all sales tickets and receipts. Lost sales tickets will be written up and lead to termination.  Safety: Oversight: Staff is responsible for monitoring guest/owner alcohol consumption as well as proper food handling techniques and procedures. Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and reporting any safety issues to management.  Customer Service: Oversight: Responsible for making sure that all questions and requests made by guests/owners are addressed promptly and efficiently. Must achieve a high level of service with a focus on exceeding guest expectations. Dept. Specific: Oversight: Bartenders/Host/Hostess/Food Runners/Servers are to have passion, respect, excellence, and motivation Management Responsibility: Manage supervisors and employees in the following Food & Beverage operations: ·  Banquets ·  Coastal ·  Al Fresco ·  Cobalt Bar ·  To-Go The position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises one non-supervisory employee. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Educational Requirements: · Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or four to ten years    related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and    experience. · assistant@thekriznergroup.com Excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to multitask. ·  English verbal communication skills; second language a plus. ·  Possess or has the ability to obtain Alcoholic Beverage Certification and Food    Handler permits. ·  Ability to efficiently operate a Point of Sale terminal. Work Environment: Regular attendance is required in compliance with company standards. General hours are day shift; however, this position requires attendance at events, banquets, and meetings, and may require early morning and evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.  The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business levels. This position requires a varying work environment ranging from office settings with normally moderate noise levels to work outdoors with environments that can be very hot and humid. Sunglasses and sunscreen are highly recommended, and comfortable footwear is encouraged. · Varied weather conditions are expected. ·  Will work near moving or mechanical parts. ·  Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business    dictates. ·  Each employee is responsible for maintaining hydrated at all times. ·  Crowded Environment.
