Job Description We are seeking a Restaurant GM to lead the daily operations of this destination restaurant, ensuring seamless service, inspiring leadership, and a spirit of hospitality that reflects Faena’s vision. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Signature Restaurant’s daily operations, guiding both front- and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a balance of strategic leadership, operational precision, and a passion for people — ensuring the restaurant thrives both as a culinary destination and a workplace of excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations in close collaboration with the Chef de Cuisine. Supervise and support front-of-house teams, including floor managers, servers, and hosts. Lead pre-shift meetings, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across departments. Ensure guest satisfaction by handling issues with warmth, discretion, and professionalism. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management of team members. Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations. Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory management, and ordering. Collaborate with bar and kitchen teams to ensure menu harmony, service flow, and operational synergy. Drive revenue through upselling strategies, service enhancements, and execution of special events. Uphold Faena’s brand standards by creating a dining environment that is refined, welcoming, and memorable. Qualifications 4+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment or luxury establishment required. Forbes 5 Star hotel experience highly advantageous. Latin American restaurant experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and resolve conflicts effectively. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest engagement. Advanced knowledge of service standards, wine, spirits, and food pairings. Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
