The Role

  • Guest Reception: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor. • Seating Management: Escort guests to their tables, ensuring that seating arrangements are efficiently managed according to reservation status and dining preferences. • Reservation Management: Handle reservations, including managing the reservation system and ensuring that all guest information is up-to-date. • Guest Assistance: Provide guests with information about the menu, specials, and any events or promotions at the cafe. • Coordination with Staff: Communicate effectively with the waitstaff and kitchen to ensure smooth guest seating and service flow. • Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience. • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the hostess station and dining area are clean, organized, and presentable. • Manage Waitlists: If the restaurant is at capacity, manage the waitlist efficiently and inform guests of expected wait times. • Promotions and Upselling: Promote daily specials and upcoming events to guests, enhancing the overall guest experience

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer service role (preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry). We need 1year minimum experience in the same role. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Arabic. • Professional Appearance: A well-groomed, polished appearance in accordance with brand standards. • Guest-Focused: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. • Team Player: Ability to work efficiently as part of a team, maintaining good communication with other restaurant staff. • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. • Cultural Sensitivity: Awareness and respect for the diverse cultural backgrounds of both guests and staff in Dubai.
