Overview It is the responsibility of the Host/Hostess to greet guests as the enter the outlet, take reservations if needed, show the guest to their table and provide menus. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet guests in a friendly manner Seat guests and provide menus Answering phone calls, take reservations as needed, answer guests’ questions. Knowledge of menu items. Attends pre-shift meetings. Maintains uniform appearance according to established guidelines. Welcomes guests, removes extra set-ups, and serves water to guests. Assists Food Server as needed. Assists with maintaining a neat, clean, and safe working environment. Turns-over/Takes-over station according to established procedure. Assist with to-go orders. Assist with sorting, polishing and rolling up silverware. Completes special projects as requested by Food & Beverage management. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
