Job Description We are seeking a welcoming and professional Restaurant Hostess to join our team at Constance Halaveli, Maldives. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere while ensuring smooth operations throughout the dining experience. This role is essential to delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining the high standards our resort is known for. Greet guests with genuine warmth and professionalism upon arrival, creating a positive first impression Manage reservation systems and maintain accurate wait lists to optimize seating and minimize guest wait times Seat guests promptly and provide them with menus while communicating any specials or dining options Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient table turnover and guest satisfaction Address guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with empathy and problem-solving skills Monitor dining room flow and communicate with management regarding capacity and guest needs Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor that reflects the resort's standards Handle phone inquiries and reservations with courtesy and accuracy Assist with special events, private dining arrangements, and customized guest experiences Provide feedback to management regarding guest experiences and operational improvements Qualifications Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach Proven experience in a hospitality or customer service environment Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume setting Proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems (or willingness to learn) Attention to detail and ability to customize service based on guest preferences Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Multilingual abilities (preferred, particularly English and additional languages) Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high service standards Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically Additional Information WORK WITH CONSTANCE 🌿 Join a team where well-being, career development, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
