Playground is an internationally renowned gaming destination located a short 15-minute drive south of downtown Montreal, within the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake. We are currently expanding, unveiling new gaming floors, a luxurious hotel, and specialized dining options.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Hostess to help create memorable dining experiences for our guests as the first point of contact. Your warm and professional demeanor, combined with your knowledge of our establishment, ensures that guests feel welcome and well-cared for from the moment they arrive.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be bilingual (French and English) and 18 years or older
• Strong Knowledge of reservations systems
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills. Must be able to anticipate needs and adjust accordingly
• Polished and professional appearance
• Significant experience in customer service and hosting in an upscale dining environment (minimum 2 years required)
• Excellent interpersonal skills as a representative of our brand
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Has an excellent understanding of time management
• A positive and collaborative team player attitude
• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays

• Greet and assist guests in a warm and professional manner
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of the dining room table numbers and their assigned locations
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Lead guests with reservations to assigned dining and bar areas
• Manage reservations and available seating options
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Assist in helping clear and set tables when time permits
• Communicate and collaborate with busboys and servers to ensure quick and efficient service
