QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Prior hospitality or restaurant experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (loading, unloading, lifting).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • English and Chinese language proficiency highly preferred.
  • Patient, reliable, and a positive attitude at all times.
Responsibilities
  • Become familiar with the restaurant’s suppliers, costs, profit margins, and auditing concepts for shipping, deliveries, and receiving.
  • Assist in compiling reports on procurement needs and related matters.
  • Upload and offload incoming deliveries when they arrive at the dock(s).
  • Prepare and distribute items to restaurant operations daily, based on requisitions or operational needs (occasional or regular travel to locations may be required).
  • Communicate with suppliers or internal departments to resolve quality control issues or discrepancies.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels at all times; conduct periodic physical inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure all inventory is stored properly and storage areas remain organized.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming deliveries of food, beverages, equipment, and other restaurant supplies.
  • Monitor quality of sources and check expiration dates on all inventory items.
  • Work flexible shifts (day and night), with the ability to take on extra shifts and hours as needed.
  • Support overall restaurant operations through collaboration and other assigned duties.
