QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards within the food industry.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen work is recommended
  • Need to be punctual and able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
  • A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Cutting/Chopping of Vegetables and Non-Veg.
  • Keep kitchen/storage areas clean and organized according to health/safety procedures
  • Work with various ingredients such as spices, vegetables and Non-Veg.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  • Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of all dishes served.
  • Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
