We are recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to manage our Pizza Pasta family buffet as part of our theme park catering team.
Our Pizza Pasta family buffet offers a range of dishes from freshly made pizza’s with mouthwatering toppings, hearty pasta dishes, a crisp colourful salad bar bursting with freshness, and tempting desserts to top off the perfect meal.
This role is varied and exciting, working as part of the team that delivers our lunch offering to the theme park guests; each day will bring fresh challenges that need to be met with a positive mental attitude whilst delivering Excellent Guest Service. You will support the Senior Manager by managing the day-to-day operations of a restaurant and be a natural inspiration to the team. You will drive sales, profitability, quality and service. There is also an opportunity for you to enrol in an apprenticeship, empowering you to develop and learn whilst working.
Shift opportunities include:
Full Time, Fully Flexible including weekends on a rotational basis

Responsibilities

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THIS ROLE WOULD INCLUDE…

  • Being confident in empowering the team to provide excellent menu knowledge and having the ability to adhere to allergen and dietary requirements where necessary
  • Adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety as well as Food Safety both with the products that are served and within the working envornement
  • Taking responsibility in compliance with internal and external audits
  • Leading the team to ensure the daily operation runs smoothly
  • Drive PDP and employee engagement initiatives
  • Identifying training needs and implementing formal training to develop the team
  • Managing labour, stock and equipment ordering in conjunction with the set budget

  • Previous Food & Beverage or Hospitality experience
  • Previous managerial experience within the Hospitality, Retal or Leisure sector.
  • Be able to maintain excellent relationships across the business and wider resort
  • Previous experience managing KPI targets across People, Profit, Guests and Safety
  • Minimum of Food safety level 2
