We are an established family run business operating within Westward Ho’s! hospitality and tourism scene and are currently looking for an experienced, professional and customer focussed individual to join our team as our Restaurant Manager at The Pier House - a premium dining and event venue offering outstanding food, coastal views, and a welcoming atmosphere.
We’re recruiting a dedicated Restaurant Manager to join the team at The Pier House, a landmark coastal venue in Westward Ho!. Tis is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the floor, leading by example, and supporting smooth, high-quality service — all while working in a stunning seafront location. You’ll be a key presence during our service times but will not have line management responsibilities. Instead, you’ll support the team through communication, coordination, and being a reliable go-to during busy shifts.

Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of restaurant and bar service.
Welcoming guests and ensuring they enjoy outstanding service from start to finish.
Acting as a visible, professional role model to the front of house
Managing orders and communicating with the kitchen during service times
Dealing with customer feedback calmly and confidently.
Helping maximise table bookings and upselling where appropriate
Assigning team members to sections and coordinating staff breaks to maintain service flow.
Securing and locking up the building at the end of shift.
Dealing with issues as they arise and reporting into the general/assistant manger(s)
