OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our new restaurant in downtwon Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in team management and development
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Previous experience with POS systems is preferred; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus
  • Background in hospitality or hotel management is advantageous
  • Barista experience is considered an asset
