  Blue Dog Hospitality, the innovators behind The Deauville Inn and Yesterday's Creekside Tavern, is looking for experienced, like-minded leaders to help us run the team this Summer. The Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. Ensuring efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. Experience in a high-volume establishment is a must. We're looking for a strong leader that will be positive and uplifting in stressful & fast-paced work environments. This is a seasonal management position. Responsibilities * Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations * Conduct daily pre-shift meetings delivering valuable information in an upbeat way * Ensure accurate scheduling of your department to maximize service and minimize expense * Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction * Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints * Organize and supervise shifts * Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity * Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations * Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste * Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events * Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices * Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations Skills * Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role * Proven customer service experience as a manager * Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff * Familiarity with restaurant management software, like 7 Shifts, ADP and Resy. * Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
Responsibilities
The Restaurant Manager will coordinate daily operations for both the Front of House and Back of House, ensuring efficient service and high customer satisfaction. They will also supervise shifts, manage staff performance, and implement policies to maintain operational standards.
