QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven managerial experience in a high-volume fine dining or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster a positive, multicultural team culture.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (required) to effectively communicate with staff, suppliers, and guests.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and basic accounting.
  • Demonstrated ability to interview, evaluate, and hire qualified staff members.
  • Knowledge of Toronto’s restaurant market and ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Strong administrative skills, including reporting, documentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Effective time management skills to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with Colombian cuisine, traditions, and hospitality.
  • Experience with POS systems, reservations software, and restaurant technology.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage regulations in Ontario.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage daily operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency, consistency, and outstanding guest experiences.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce organizational policies and procedures aligned with the restaurant’s brand and standards.
  • Coordinate, lead, and supervise staff across all departments, fostering teamwork and high performance.
  • Conduct interviews, hire, and onboard qualified candidates for both front and back of house positions.

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, record keeping, payroll assistance, and data analysis.
  • Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, delegate effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Promote Colombian culture and cuisine through staff training and customer engagement.
