JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to assist in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with the ability to lead a team effectively while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both the front and back of house operations, including staff training, inventory control, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in quick service & fast food restaurant operations is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated skills in staff training, team management, and leadership within a hospitality setting.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial oversight related to restaurant operations.
  • Experience in kitchen management, including food production and catering services.
  • Previous roles may include assistant manager or supervisory positions within restaurants or hotels.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential; culinary experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies.
  • Supervise and train staff
  • Utilize POS systems such as Maitre’d for efficient transaction processing.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for team members focusing on culinary skills, hospitality management, and customer engagement.
  • Handle cash management duties accurately and responsibly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to maintain high-quality food production standards.
  • Lead shift management activities to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
