Salter Brothers Hospitality Group is seeking Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager to join their teams.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all guests receive exceptional service, enhancing their dining experience, creating those tailored experiences
• Forge loyal relationships with guests to promote repeated clientele
• Handle guest complaints and feedback with a focus on resolution and satisfaction
• Act as an ambassador for our SBH values, ensuring every interaction with both guests and team reflects these values
• Conduct regular inspections of dining areas to ensure the restaurant is always presented to an impeccable standard
• Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage team members during the shift to ensure efficient operations
• Motivate, coach, and mentor the food and beverage team to achieve service excellence.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of team members
• Assist with stock ordering, inventory control, and accurate stocktakes.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager in managing labour costs, ensuring rosters align with budget and business needs
• Remain updated with the Food and Beverage departments budgets and targets and work closely with the Restaurant Management team to achieve these targets
• Always Ensure compliance with the provisions of the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Regulations
• Ensure all incidents and injuries are addressed immediately, documented, investigated and corrective actions implemented;
• Ensure Salter Brothers Hospitality Risk Management Policy, program and the application of sound risk management practices within the workplace and community are always observed and complied with

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant qualification in the hospitality industry
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven management experience working in hospitality/customer service environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and get results.
• Exceptional organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
• Technical product knowledge in food and wine.
• Understanding of budgets and forecasting.
• Knowledge of POS and end-of-day reconciliation procedures
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
