Are you an Assistant GM, or perhaps General Manager looking for your next challenge, and have the Front of House personality to run a busy dining and events pub ?
Within a small independent East London pub group, The Leytonstone Tavern is a popular, recently established friendly neighbourhood dining pub, focusing on hospitality and service excellence. We’re looking for either an experienced Restaurant Manager, or perhaps an AGM / GM looking to join an ambitious management team at an independent pub.
Working directly with the two highly driven and successful co-founders, you’ll be responsible for delivering service excellence, and managing the team. There is plenty of career development, where you’ll learning all aspects of running a successful business.
The Tavern is known for it’s incredible menu of burgers and taco’s, serving day time and evening, 6 days a week. Saturday brunch is a thing, with our busiest day of course being Sunday Roasts. As part of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, we source direct from high welfare and Regenerative Agriculture is a huge part of offering, using the best possible produce. We’re also recently added smoked meats to the menu.
With a dedicated event space and garden, we also focus on hosting events, including BBQs, weddings and celebrations with bespoke menu’s, as well as curating an interesting events programme throughout the year, such as craft beer festivals and tequila tasting. We’re looking forward to the arrival of our taco truck, which we plan to take to various events and festivals.

• Great hosting and customer service skills
• Ability to lead and manage a team, particularly on busy shifts
• Unrelenting positive attitude!
• A genuine interest in guest experience, and all things food and drink
• Sound business acumen
• Good knowledge of wine and craft beer, cocktails, coffee
