We are seeking a passionate and experienced restaurant manager to lead the daily operations of our Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Italian cuisine and culture, with proven experience managing front-of-house and back-of-house teams in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in restaurant/hospitality management with a passion for hosting events.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house dynamics.
  • Comfortable hosting and engaging a crowd during poker, karaoke, and trivia nights.
  • Background in cocktail creation and bar operations is a big plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

  • Experience with POS systems, reservations, and event ticketing is a bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Greet and engage customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Plan, promote, and host poker nights, karaoke nights, and trivia nights.
  • Create an engaging atmosphere during events, interacting with guests and participants.
  • Train and manage front-of-house staff (servers, bartenders, hosts).
  • Assist in developing themed drink specials and promotions for event nights.
  • Work with marketing to promote events on social media and within the community.
  • Ensure smooth service coordination between the kitchen, bar, and entertainment areas.
  • Monitor customer feedback and resolve any service-related issues.
  • Manage inventory, especially for bar and event-related needs.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor laws.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as creating weekly schedules and managing employee timetables. Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Taking a hands-on approach to closing duties, including thorough cleaning and preparation for the next day.
