Description The Sheraton Eatontown Hotel is seeking candidates to join our team in the role of Restaurant Manager. The Restaurant Manager will oversee all aspects of the Hotel’s on-site restaurant. Requirements Responsibilities include: Hire, train, supervise, and manage employees. Manage all day-to-day operations. Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence. Create an environment for employees aligned with the company culture through constant communication and reinforcement. Provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. Cash handling and inventory management. Move throughout facility and kitchen areas to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met. Accurately review and analyze daily restaurant paperwork Compensation and Benefits include: This position offers a starting wage that ranges from $40k-$45k annually depending on qualifications and experience. Full-time employees will have the opportunity to earn paid time-off and join the company's health, dental, vision, and retirement plans (once qualified). Skills & Qualifications: 1 to 2 years management or supervisory experience preferably in food and/or beverage service. Must be able to display ongoing proficiency in the use of all restaurant equipment, as well as be able to handle all business/administrative, management, and both technical and training aspects. Performance management, supervisory: Demonstrate ability to relate to, communicate with and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of restaurant system. Knowledge in bartending trade and trends. Ability to lift 20 pounds or more and push/pull 50 pounds or more. Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend. Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
