Key responsibilities include: * Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction in line with brand standards. * Lead, train, and motivate the service team to deliver professional, personalized, and consistent dining experiences. * Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and wine service, ensuring proper service sequence, presentation, and etiquette. * Manage wine service operations, including wine list development, wine pairing recommendations, inventory control, and proper storage. * Advise guests on wine selections and pairings, enhancing the overall dining experience. * Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, health, and safety regulations. * Monitor and control operational costs, including labor, beverages, wine inventory, and supplies. * Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring timely service recovery. * Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Bar, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure smooth operations. * Prepare work schedules, manage staffing levels, and conduct performance evaluations. * Support revenue optimization through upselling strategies and excellent guest engagement. * Ensure all brand standards, service procedures, and SOPs are consistently applied. * Represent the restaurant professionally in all guests and partner interactions. Responsible Business & Compliance All operations will be conducted ethically, transparently, and in compliance with local laws and company policies. I will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, hosts, and assets while maintaining positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders. Skills & Experience The role requires: * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar role at upscale or luxury hotels and restaurants. * Diploma or higher in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or related fields. * Certified Sommelier / WSET Level 2 or above / Wine & Spirit Education qualification is required. * Please note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Strong knowledge of wine service, wine pairing, beverage operations, and fine dining standards. * Food and beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development and controlling inventory. * Familiar with food and hygiene codes, policies and procedures. * Excellent leadership, communication, and guest engagement skills. * Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage. * Strong organizational, financial, and operational management skills. * Passion for service excellence and attention to detail.
