We're looking for an experienced, hands on Restaurant Manager to lead the day to day operations of a busy, well loved venue. This is a high impact role for someone who thrives on being visible on the floor, leading from the front, and creating a dining experience that keeps guests coming back.

You'll take full ownership of the shift, from team performance to guest satisfaction to the numbers behind the scenes, while building a culture that staff and customers both love to be part of.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, and roster front-of-house and bar staff, building a motivated and capable team.
  • Customer Experience: Be a visible, engaging presence on the floor, welcoming guests, resolving issues, and setting the tone for great service.
  • Operational Control: Manage inventory, stock ordering, supplier relationships, and cost control to keep the venue running efficiently.
  • Financial Performance: Monitor labour costs, wastage, and daily takings, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to RSA, WHS, food safety, and gaming regulations at all times.
  • Standards & Presentation: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service consistency across the venue.
  • Problem Solving: Handle day-to-day operational issues quickly and calmly, keeping service running smoothly under pressure.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior supervisor in a busy hospitality venue.
  • Current NSW RSA and RSG certifications.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and conflict, resolution skills, with a calm, solutions focused approach.
  • Solid understanding of cost control, rostering, and stock management.
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
