Description
Overview To manage the F&B Outlets of Kahler Grand to include Lord Essex and Room Service, so as to maintain established operational standards and maximize profits of the hotels. Responsibilities Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and guest service quality. Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximizes profitability related to the food and beverage department. Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments. Supervise Food & Beverage staff. This includes hiring, training, counseling, disciplining, terminating and completing performance evaluations. Develops short term and long term financial and operational plans for the food and beverage department which support the overall objectives of the hotel. Participates in the preparation of the annual hotel budget Increases level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an improved product through employee development, job engineering and quality image. Maintain procedures for credit control and handling of financial transactions. Maintain inventory control procedures Receive departmental related guest complaints and ensures corrective action is taken Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hotel environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation: $65k annually based on qualifications and experience.
