JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with proven leadership skills to manage a diverse team effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service, maintaining food safety standards, and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum- 3-5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
  • Experience customer service management
  • Extensive food and wine knowledge
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in event planning

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
  • oversee the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations
  • Following all company policy and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property
  • Organise staff shifts and scheduling
  • decides on range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided;
  • discusses customer’s requirements for special occasions;
  • verifies that quality of food, beverages and waiting service is as required, that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements;
  • plans and arranges food preparation in collaboration with other staff and organises the provision of waiting or counter staff;
  • checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss
  • recruit, train, manage and motivate staff.
