Kitch’n Savvy is a family-owned Mediterranean restaurant and marketplace located in Stayner, Ontario. Our mission is clear - to serve food “for your soul and heart’ focusing on wholesome, authentic Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a small team.
  • Business minded with proven experience managing budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high food quality, and managing catering preparations.
  • Lead, train, and manage a team of staff members, fostering a positive and warm work environment.
  • Interview and hire new employees to build a skilled and hard-working team.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
  • Monitor food handling practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly, maintaining a 5-star rating dining service.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate transactions and reporting for the end of sales and daily cash out.
  • Manage marketing, contribute to local marketing engagements, promote our catering, and manage social media.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
