Bait Maryam is seeking Restaurant Manager to join our team to keep restaurant operations running smoothly to create a positive atmosphere for customers. Common duties and responsibilities of a Restaurant Manager include:

  • Maintaining safety and food quality standards
  • Keeping customers happy, getting their feedback on the experience and handling complaints
  • Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees’ hours and recording data
  • Ordering supplies while staying within budget limitations
  • Supervising daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
  • Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
  • Appraising staff performance and disciplining or retraining employees to correct poor performance
  • Meets restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Plans menus by consulting with chefs, estimating food costs and profits, and adjusting menus.
  • Controls costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimizing waste; and ensuring high quality of preparation.
  • Avoids legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission.
  • Maximizes bar profitability by ensuring portion control and monitoring accuracy of charges.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; securing revenues; developing and implementing disaster plans
  • Maintains ambiance by controlling lighting, background music, linen service, glassware, dinnerware, and utensil quality and placement, and monitoring food presentation and service.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Experience in an Arabic Restaurant is a must.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
