Punjabi Palace Restaurant is a well-established and highly regarded restaurant located in the bustling city of Cairns, QLD. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and help us continue to provide exceptional dining experiences to our valued customers.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring the highest level of service and quality is maintained at all times. You will work closely with the owner and other team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and budgeting.

- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high-quality standards.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other business partners.

- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.

- Create and update menus, taking into consideration customer preferences and dietary restrictions.

- Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to make informed decisions and improve business performance.

Requirements:

- Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification.

- Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional dining experiences.

- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.

- Proven ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • - Knowledge of local food and beverage trends and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
