JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and leading a team to success. This role requires effective leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various aspects of restaurant operations, including staff training, inventory control, and budgeting.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and culinary practices.
  • Experience in quick service restaurants as well as full service dining establishments is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a restaurant setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management or supervising experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
  • Train, develop, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
  • Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Manage inventory control and order supplies as needed.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and sales tracking.
  • Implement effective shift management strategies to optimize staff performance.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new team members.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
  • Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen management on menu planning, food production, and catering services as needed.
