Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gerenal Manager (Full-time only) to join our dynamic team at our new restaurant in London Angel.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ management experience in hospitality, excellent leadership abilities, and a true passion for customer service. As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead and motivate the team, and ensure that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
  • Lead, motivate and support the restaurant team.
  • Prepare staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Train new team members and monitor staff performance.
  • Maintain excellent standards of customer service.
  • Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and cleaning standards are consistently maintained.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, stock control and wastage.
  • Monitor labour and operating costs.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed correctly.
  • Monitor sales and restaurant performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve the restaurant's operational and financial targets.
