JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food industry, ensuring that our restaurant delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, optimizing restaurant performance, and enhancing the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision & Training:
  • Hire, train, and manage staff, including front and kitchen crew members and crew leads.
  • Ensure employees are following company policies and food safety regulations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to improve team performance.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining service quality.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee order accuracy and speed of service.
  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including inventory control, food preparation, and cleanliness.
  • Manage restaurant opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the restaurant always meets health and safety standards.
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Financial Management:
  • Control restaurant costs, including labor, food, and supplies.
  • Monitor financial performance and work to meet budgeted sales goals.
  • Assist with payroll and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Marketing & Sales:
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to drive traffic and sales.
  • Monitor local market trends and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all local, provincial and federal regulations (e.g., food safety, labor laws).
  • Prepare and maintain reports on sales, inventory, staff performance, and other key metrics.
