Job Description

• Oversee the daily operations of our award-winning restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards and operational excellence at all times.
• Place both guest and Heartist experience at the centre of every decision by leading through example, fostering an engaging, supportive and empowering work environment.
• Partner closely with the Assistant Restaurant General Manager and Bar Manager to develop and implement initiatives, promotions and incentives that enhance guest satisfaction, drive team engagement and maximize revenue.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the restaurant's reservation, booking and guest profiling systems to optimize guest experiences and commercial performance.
• Build strong collaboration between the Front of House and Back of House teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
• Proactively gather guest feedback, identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to continuously elevate the dining experience.
• Drive service excellence by planning and delivering regular training sessions, coaching, performance feedback and daily briefings, ensuring all restaurant and bar team members consistently uphold brand standards.
• Inspire, motivate and develop the team to achieve business objectives while creating a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Qualifications

• A track record of leading large teams in restaurants, kitchens and bars; you’re a natural at inspiring trust and bringing others along on a journey.
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar restaurant management role in a busy, bustling environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, juggling many things at once.
• Passion for hospitality – you’re all about creating memorable experiences for others, be they guests or colleagues.
